This is a writ petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India wherein the writ petitioner has prayed for the following substantial reliefs: "i) Issue a Writ, Order or direction in the nature of mandamus commanding the respondents concerned to issue Scheduled Caste Certificate (Dhangar) to the petitioner in view of enquiry/verification report dated 03.03.2020 submitted by Vigilance Cell of Other Backward Classes Directorate, U.P. at Lucknow. ii) Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus commanding the respondents concerned to take effective and necessary action upon vigilance enquiry and recommendation dated 03.03.2020 forwarded by Vigilance cell of Directorate-Other backward Classes-Welfare U.P. Lucknow on 06.03.2020 to the respondent no. 1." 3. Learned Standing Counsel appearing on behalf of the State respondents has very fairly submitted that the enquiry/verification report is in favour of the petitioner. 4. In light of the same, authority concerned is directed to issue Scheduled Caste Certificate (Dhangar) to the petitioner in accordance with law, if the enquiry/verification report submitted by the Vigilance Cell is in favour of the petitioner.
