ORAL ORDER
1. This writ petition is filed by the petitioners seeking a mandamus directing the respondents to consider the representations vide Annexures "B" to "B4".
2.
Brief facts, leading rise to the filing of this writ petition, are as follows:
3. The petitioners were appointed by respondent No.4 as full time employees in their respective posts. The petitioners filed a writ petition in W.P. No.49606 of 2012 seeking for a mandamus directing the respondents for
consideration of their representations submitted for the payment of arrears of salary due to them since 2003.
4. This Court allowed the said writ petition vide order dated 09.03.2020 and directed respondent No.4 to consider the representations within four weeks. Petitioner Nos.1 to 8 submitted fresh representations to respondent No.4 claiming arrears of salary on

04.06.2020. Despite submitting a set of representations, respondent No.4 has not considered the representations. Hence this writ petition.
5. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioners and the
learned counsel for respondent Nos.2 to 4.
6.
Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that the petitioners filed representations before respondent No.4 seeking payment of arrears of salary. The petitioners filed a writ petition before this Court seeking direction for
consideration of their representations. This Court allowed the writ petition directing the respondents to consider the representations within four weeks. Again, the petitioners submitted representations to respondent No.4, despite which, respondent Nos.4 and 5 have not released the arrears of salary to the petitioners. Hence, prays to allow the writ petition.

7.
Learned counsel for respondent Nos.2 to 4 submits that if reasonable time is granted to respondent No.4, respondent No.4 would consider the set of representations submitted by the petitioners, in accordance with law.
8. Perused the records, and considered the submissions of the learned counsel for the parties.
9. It is not in dispute that the petitioners filed representations before respondent No.4 for payment of the arrears of salary due to them since 2003. The respondents did not pass any order on the representations submitted by the petitioners. The petitioners approached this Court in W.P. No.49606 of 2017. This Court vide order dated 09.03.2020
disposed of the writ petition directing the petitioners to calculate the actual amount due to them and make representations and ordered that if such representations are made, respondent No.4 to

consider the same in an expeditious manner, and to dispose of the same in accordance with law.
10. Pursuant to the order passed by this Court in the aforesaid writ petition, the petitioners have submitted their representations vide Annexures "B" to "B4". The respondents, instead of considering the representations, kept the same in abeyance without passing any order on the said representations. The respondents being the public office, it is their duty to consider the representations submitted by the applicant and pass an appropriate order.
11. Admittedly, in the instant case, respondent No.4 has not passed any orders on the representations submitted by the petitioners.
12. In view of the submissions made by the learned counsel for respondent No.4, that as respondent No.4 would consider the representations made by the petitioners and pass an appropriate order on the
