NATARAJ ORAL ORDER The petitioner has sought for a writ in the nature of mandamus to direct the respondent No.4 to consider his representation dated 24.11.2021. 2. The petitioner claims that property bearing No.1, old Khatha No.46 and new Khatha No.124 situated in Basavapattana, Mydala Grama Panchayath, Urdigere Hobli, Thumkuru District his wife, since deceased, had purchased under a housing scheme was earlier granted to Thimmaiah on 09.03.1985 and a hakku patra dated 19.03.1985 was issued. - 3 - HC-KAR NC: 2025:KHC:41365 WP No. 17226 of 2022 The petitioner contends that his wife purchased it on 18.03.2015 and her name was entered in the records of the panchayath. After the death of his wife, petitioner submitted a representation to change the khatha which showed the site in question as gramatana and mention that it was granted. Based on a representation of the petitioner, the respondent No.3 wrote a letter dated 28.01.2021 to the respondent No.4 for permission to convert the khatha from Gram Tana to grant under a Government Housing Scheme. However, the respondent No.4 has not taken any action. The petitioner is therefore before this Court seeking for direction to respondent No.4 to consider the letter dated 28.01.2021 and pass appropriate orders. 3. The learned counsel for the respondent No.4 submitted that necessary orders would be passed in accordance with law. 4. In view of the above, this petition is disposed off, directing the respondent No.4 to consider the letter written by the respondent No.3 dated 28.01.2021 and pass appropriate - 4 - HC-KAR NC: 2025:KHC:41365 WP No. 17226 of 2022 orders within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 5.
