GP FOR HOME 3 THE HONOURABLE DR JUSTICE VENKATA JYOTHIRMAI PRATAPA WRIT PETITION NO: 27827 of 2025 ORDER: This Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India with the following prayer for: “…to issue a Writ, Order or direction more particularly one in the nature of Writ Of Mandamus declaring the action and inaction of the 3rd Respondent Station House Officer, Nidamarru Police Station, West Godavari District, in not registering the Petitioners complaint, despite clear disclosure of cognizable offences under Sections 406, 408, 420, 120-B, 328 and 307 IPC, as illegal, arbitrary and violative of Articles 14 and 21 of the Constitution of India and Consequently direct the 3rd Respondent Police to forthwith register a case on the basis of the Petitioners written complaint and pass such.…” 2. Heard Sri Uday Kumar Vampugadavala, learned counsel for the petitioner and Sri V.Farooq, learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home for the respondents. 3. Learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home for the official respondents, on written instructions, would submit that the respondent police have not received any representation from the petitioner for registration of any crime. 4. Learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petition may be disposed of giving liberty to the petitioner to make a fresh representation to the police. 4 5. In that view, this Writ Petition is disposed of. However, the petitioner is at liberty to make a fresh representation to the police. There shall be no Order as to costs.
