CMP.No.629 of 2024 2. Heard the learned counsels on either side. 3. Reasons for seeking transfer are as follows:- (i) The distance between the present residence of the petitioner/wife to the Family Court, Tiruchirapalli is more than 300 kms. (ii) The respondent/husband is not maintaining the petitioner/wife. (iii) The respondent/husband is employed at Chennai. 4. Considering the fact that the sufficient reasons for seeking the transfer have been stated in the affidavit filed in support of the petition, the Transfer Civil Miscellaneous Petition is allowed and HMOP No.131 of 2024, pending on the file of the Family Court, Tiruchirapalli is withdrawn and transferred to the file of the Family Court, Chennai. The presence of the respondent/husband before the Family Court, Chennai is dispensed with on all hearings except for adducing evidence and for counseling. 2/4 https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis Tr. The learned counsel for the petitioner/wife undertakes to file a counter within a period of 2 weeks from the date of matter being transferred and re-numbered in the Family Court, Chennai. The Family Court, Chennai is directed to dispose of the HMOP within a period of 6 months from the date of filing of the counter by the petitioner/wife. No costs.
