The instant petition has been filed for the following reliefs: " issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus directing the Court of Consolidation Officer, Sadar, Jaunpur to decide the restoration application dated 20.6.2023 filed in Case No.297 to 302.C9/ 1993-94 (Balram vs. State of U.P. through District Magistrate) connected with (Muniraj vs. Chandrabali and others) is pending before the learned court of Consolidation Officer, Sadar, Jaunpur within stipulated period. " 3. Learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that within time restoration application filed on behalf of the petitioner is pending before respondent no.2/ Consolidation Officer, as such, appropriate direction should be issued for expeditious disposal of pending restoration application within time bound period. 4. Without expressing any opinion on merits of the case and keeping in view of the facts and circumstances, respondent no.2 is directed to decide the aforementioned restoration application dated 20.6.2023 after giving an opportunity of hearing to the parties in accordance with law expeditiously preferably within a period of two months from the date of production of certified copy of this order before him. 5. Accordingly, the writ petition is finally disposed of.
