Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner and his wife both are serving as Lecturers in different subjects in the respondent Education Department. The petitioner is having 70% permanent disability, whereas his wife is suffering from 50% permanent locomotor disability. Petitioner’s wife is posted at GSSS Mail, District Chamba as Lecturer and he himself is posted at GSSS Kakira, District Chamba.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that distance between the aforementioned two stations is 50 k.m. That in view of Clause 5.3 of the Comprehensive Guiding Principles-2013 that regulates the transfer of State Government employees and grants 1 Whether reporters of Local Papers may be allowed to see the judgment?
2 concession to handicapped persons as also Clause 5.4 that grants concession to the couple in service of the State Government, petitioner has made representation to respondent No.2 vide Annexure P-3 on 4.12.2024 seeking his adjustment; However, the aforesaid representation has not been decided till date.

Looking to the grievance of the petitioner, this writ petition is disposed of by directing respondent No.2 to consider and decide the aforesaid representation in accordance with law and within a period of six weeks. The order so passed be also communicated to the petitioner. Pending miscellaneous application(s), if any, shall also stands disposed of. Jyotsna Rewal Dua
