This Court, vide order dated 23.07.2024 passed in MCRC No. 4083 of 2024, while allowing the bail to the applicants, namely, Naveen Tandi, Manju Chouhan and Akash Sinde had expressed its trust that the trial Court would make an earnest endeavor to conclude the trial expeditiously in accordance KUNAL DEWANGAN Digitally signed by KUNAL DEWANGAN 2 with law, preferably within a period of six months from the date of receipt of a certified copy of this order, if there was no legal impediment. 3. Earlier on one occasion also, this Court had granted extension of time for compliance of the order dated 23.07.2024. 4. The learned Special Judge (NDPS Act), Saraipali District-Mahasamund (C.G.) vide his request letter dated 14.10.2025 has requested for grant of four months time for concluding the trial. 5. It transpires from perusal of the PUD that in the present case, the case was fixed for securing the presence of the accused persons. Accused Naveen Tandi and accused Manju Chauhan are residents of District Mahasamund, Chhattisgarh, and accused Akash Sinde is a resident of District Pune, Maharashtra. Arrest warrants were issued against the accused, however, due to their absence, further proceedings in the case could not be carried out within the prescribed time limit. Because of the absence of the accused persons, it is respectfully submitted that after securing their presence, further proceedings will be conducted and the case will be disposed of at the earliest. Therefore, he prays for grant of four months further time for concluding the trial. 6. The request appears to be reasonable. The concerned trial Court is directed to conclude the trial as early as possible, preferably within a further period of four months from today. 7. Accordingly, this CRMP stands disposed off with the aforesaid direction. 8.
