Mr. Amandeep Sharma, learned Additional Advocate General, appears and waives service of notice on behalf of the respondents. 2. The case set up in this writ petition is that the petitioner had preferred a representation seeking transfer under 5% quota as per the inter-district transfer policy notified on 20.11.2021. The aforesaid representation preferred by the petitioner in January, 2024, had duly been processed and sent by respondent No.3, i.e. Deputy Director Elementary Education, Chamba on 17.07.2024 to respondent No.2-Director Elementary Education, Himachal 1Whether reporters of print and electronic media may be allowed to see the order? Yes. 2 Pradesh for further necessary action, however, till date, the aforesaid representation has not been decided. The petitioner thereafter also repeated his request vide representation dated 12.11.2024 (Annexure P-3). The same is also pending consideration. 3. Looking to the limited grievance of the petitioner, this writ petition is disposed of by directing respondent No.2/competent authority to consider and decide the aforesaid representations of the petitioner in accordance with law and applicable transfer policy within a period of six weeks from today. The decision so arrived at shall also be communicated to the petitioner. The writ petition stands disposed of in the above terms, so also the pending miscellaneous application(s), if any.
