This Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India with the following prayer for:
“…to issue a writ or order or direction more particularly one in the nature of writ of mandamus declaring the high handed action of the respondents in calling the petitioner to the police station without there being any case or cause under the guise of the case in Crime No. 561 of 2021 dated 28.10.2021 on the file of the 3rd respondent police station as highly illegal, arbitrary, unconstitutional as well as abuse of power of police and consequentially direct the respondent police not to interfere with the personal life and liberty of the petitioner without there being any case or cause under the guise of the case in Crime No. 561 of 2021 dated 28.10.2021 on the file of the 3rd respondent police station without following due procedure contemplated under law and to pass .…”
2. When the matter was taken up for hearing, learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petition may be disposed of, since the relief has become infructuous in this matter. 3. Sri V.Farook, learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home for the respondents is in attendance. 4. Recording the above said submission, the Writ Petition is dismissed as infructuous. There shall be no order as to costs. 4
