Page 3 of 4 2. Heard Sri P.V. Ramana, learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Assistant Government Pleader appearing for the respondents. 3. The petitioner, Deputy Executive Engineer, Greater Visakhapatnam Municipal Corporation, Visakhapatnam, was permitted to study B.E. (Part- time) through distance education mode at Andhra University as per proceedings No.30918/E1/(2)86-06, dated 01.05.2006. However, the petitioner studied AMICE (Civil) Engineering (India) Ludhiana, Punjab University. After completing the degree, the petitioner submitted an application to respondent No. 3. Respondent No. 3, in turn, addressed a letter (No. 3461/Estt/E1/DEEs/2025) dated 03.06.2025 to respondent No. 2. 4. Learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that despite the letter addressed by respondent No.3 to respondent No.2, respondent No.2 has not issued any proceedings so far. 5. Sri Raju, learned Assistant Government Pleader, on instructions would submit that respondent No.2 will pass appropriate orders on the communication made by respondent No.3. 6. Given the facts and circumstances of the case, without touching the merits of the matter, the Writ Petition is disposed of at the stage of admission with the consent of both the learned counsel, directing respondent No.2 to pass appropriate orders, pursuant to the letter addressed by respondent No.3 to respondent No.2, strictly as per the Rules, regarding the qualification acquired by the petitioner in service records, as expeditiously as possible, preferably within eight (08) weeks. No order as to costs.
