This Court, vide order dated 18.07.2024, passed in MCRC No. 4217 of 2024, while allowing the bail to the applicant, namely, Sagardas Manikpuri had expressed its trust that the trial Court should make an earnest endeavor to conclude the trial expeditiously in accordance with law, preferably within a period of six months from the date of passing of the order, if there was no legal impediment. 3. The learned Judicial Magistrate First Class, Raipur, District-Raipur (C.G.) vide his request letter dated 10.01.2025 has requested for grant of KUNAL DEWANGAN Digitally signed by KUNAL DEWANGAN 2 some more time for concluding the trial. 4. It transpires from perusal of the PUD that in this case, the evidence of 05 witnesses remains to be recorded and lots of efforts have been made to conclude the trial expeditiously but it could not be completed within a stipulated time however, the case is at the stage of prosecution evidence and examination of important witnesses like the doctor who conducted the medical examination of the injured, are still left in the case. Considering the number of remaining witnesses in the case, it is likely to take some time for concluding the same. 5. The request appears to be reasonable. The concerned trial Court is directed to conclude the trial as early as possible, preferably within a further period of five months from today. 6. Accordingly, this CRMP stands disposed off with the aforesaid direction. 7.
