GP FOR REVENUE 3 THE HONOURABLE DR JUSTICE VENKATA JYOTHIRMAI PRATAPA WRIT PETITION NO: 28716 of 2025 ORDER: This Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India with the following prayer for: “…to issue a writ or Order or direction in the Nature of Writ of Mandamus declaring the action of the 2nd & 3rd respondents in not taking criminal action against respondent Nos. 4 and 5 who are frequently obstructing agricultural operations of the petitioners from their agricultural lands of Ac.2-46 in R.S.No.82/1, Ac.2-45 in R.S.No.82, Ac.2-45 in R.S.No.82, total Ac. 7-46 cents situated at Chintalagudem Buttaigudem Mandal is illegal, arbitrary and violation of principles of natural justice and to pass.…” 2. Heard Sri Naram Nageswara Rao, learned counsel for the petitioners, Sri V.Farooq, learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home for the respondents and the learned Assistant Government Pleader for Revenue is in attendance. 3. Learned counsel for the petitioners would submit that the petitioners are the owners of the subject property. While they were doing agricultural operations, the unofficial respondents entered into the field and dispossessed them from their land and threatened them with dire consequences. The petitioners submitted a representation to the police to look into the issue, but there is no response. 4 4. Learned Assistant Government Pleader for Revenue would submit that let there be a direction to the police to dispose of the petitioners’ representation. 5. Learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home would submit that the police are not interfering in the subject matter since it is a civil matter. 6. In that view, this Writ Petition is disposed of. However, the police are directed to look into the representation of the petitioners and act according to law. There shall be no Order as to costs.
