THE ADVOCATE GENERAL 3 CMR,J & GTK,J W.P.No.29333 of 2025 The Court made the following Order: (Per Hon’ble Sri Justice Cheekati Manavendranath Roy) This writ petition for Habeas Corpus has been filed by the writ petitioner seeking direction to the respondent-Police officers to produce the Corpus by name Sri Jonnalagadda Chandu, alleged to have been illegally detained by the 5th respondent-Station House Officer, Nadendla Police Station, Guntur District. 2. When the writ petition is taken up for hearing, Mr. P.Sashidar Reddy, learned counsel for the writ petitioner, on instructions, submits that the Corpus was released from the custody of the 5th respondent at the early hours on 23.10.2025. 3. Mr. T.Vishnu Teja, learned Special Government Pleader attached to the office of learned Advocate General, submits, on instructions, that a crime was registered against the Corpus Sri Jonnalagadda Chandu son of Ravi Kumar, in crime No.81 of 2025 of Nadendla Police Station for the offences punishable under Section 351(2) read with Sub-Clause 5 of Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS), 2023, on 10.07.2025 and thereafter, he has been absconding and avoiding his arrest and later on, a notice under Section 41(A) of Code of Criminal Procedure was issued to him in the said crime by the 5th respondent and after receiving the said notice, the Corpus has appeared before the 5th respondent and thereafter, he was released on bail on execution of self bond with two sureties. 4 CMR,J & GTK,J W.P.No.29333 of 2025 4. Recording the aforesaid submissions of both Mr. P.Sashidar Reddy, learned counsel for the writ petitioner, and Mr. T.Vishnu Teja, learned Special Government Pleader attached to the office of learned Advocate General, and as crime was registered against the Corpus and as he was subsequently released on bail, this Writ Petition is closed. There shall be no order as to costs.
