Barman, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner. Also heard Ms. S.H. Borah, the learned Addl. Public Prosecutor, Assam representing Respondent No.1 as well as Mr. D. Das, the learned counsel appearing for the Respondent No.2. 2. The Respondent No.2 being the informant of the original case filed an affidavit today stating that he has already settled the dispute with the present petitioner and he has no objection if the FIR of Dispur P.S. Case No.1940/2019 is quashed. 3. Mr. Barman also supported that fact. 4. I have considered the submissions made by the learned counsel of both sides. 5. Both the offences are also compoundable according to law. Since, the parties have settled their disputes, the present petition is disposed of on compromise. 6. The FIR in respect of Dispur P.S. Case No.1940/2019 is quashed and set aside. The Criminal petition is disposed of accordingly. JUDGE Comparing Assistant
