This Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India with the following prayer for:
“.... to issue a Writ or order or direction more particularly one in the nature Writ of Mandamus declaring the action of respondents 1 to 4 in not granting special remission though I am eligible as per the guidelines issued in GO Ms No. 94 Home (Parole-HRC) Department dated 27-08-2020, wherein the petitioner completed sentence of 9 years 8 months and 45 days and crossed the age of 65 years and also the action of the 3rd respondent in not according permission for temporary parole of 10 days to attend obsequies of my late father

KatariRadhakrishnalah who died on 11-02-2021, to be conducted from 23-02-2021 to 27-02-2021 at Krishnareddypalli with police escort as illegal, arbitrary and unconstitutional and consequently direct the respondents 1 to 3 to exercise special remission to the petitioner and enlarge him from jail pursuance of GO Ms No. 94 Home (Parole-HRC) Department dated 27-08-2020.”
2. Today, when the matter came up for hearing, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that nothing survives for adjudication in the Writ Petition and the matter has become infructuous.
3. Recording the said submission, the Writ Petition is dismissed as infructuous. There shall be no order as to costs.
