This writ petition is filed for the following relief:
“…. To issue a writ of mandamus or any other appropriate Writ,
Order or direction declaring the action of the respondents 2 and 3 in not supplying the essential commodities to the petitioner fair price shop No.0521038 situated at Vijayagiri village, Pedavegi Mandal, West Godavari, now Eluru District without there being any suspension or cancellation of appointment as illegal, arbitrary and violation of principles of natural justice and consequently direct the 2nd and 3rd respondents to supply the essential commodities to the petitioner’s Fair Price Shop by enabling him to supply to the card holders and pass such order ………”

2. The petitioner is a Fair Price Shop Dealer of Eluru District. On 07.01.2025, the Vigilance Enforcement Officer inspected the shop of the petitioner and found variation of (-) 204 kgs of rice which is permissible limit. The counsel for the petitioner contends that without suspension or cancellation, the respondents have stopped supplying the Essential Commodities to the Petitioner’s Fair Price Shop on the ground of political influence, which is nothing but violation of principles of natural justice. Since, the petitioner’s authorization is still subsisting the respondents shall supply the Essential Commodities to the petitioner’s Fair Price Shop.

In the facts and circumstances of the case, without going into the merits of the case, this Writ Petition is disposed of, at the stage of admission, directing the respondents to supply the essential commodities to the petitioner’s fair price shop if the petitioner has paid amounts for lifting of stocks. However, the respondents are at liberty to conduct enquiry and proceed in accordance with law.
4. Accordingly, the Writ Petition is disposed of. No order as to costs.
As a sequel, miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending shall stand closed. ___________________________
