The principal grievance of the petitioners appears to be non-adherence to the guidelines to Police Officers investigating cases under SC/ST(POA) Act, 1989 and PCR, Act, 1955. 3. It is needless to mention that the guidelines are required to be followed by the Investigating Agency in conducting instigation under the SCST Act. 4. The writ petition is, accordingly, disposed of.
