ORAL ORDER
Petitioner is seeking a direction for the expeditious disposal of CRL.R.P.No.313/2025 pending on the file of LV Additional City Civil and Sessions Judge, (CCH 56), Bengaluru.
2. In view of the limited prayer sought in the petition, notice to respondent is dispensed with.
3. Matter arises out of a proceeding initiated by the petitioner / complainant against respondent alleging an offence punishable under Section 138 of the NI Act. The trial is pending before the Court of 16th ACJM, Bengaluru.
4. An application was filed before the trial Court, under Section 309 of Cr.P.C. seeking adjournment for further cross-examination of PW.1, complainant i.e.,

petitioner herein, which was rejected by the trial Court. Aggrieved by the same, respondent herein filed Criminal Revision Petition before the Sessions Court. The learned Sessions Judge while entertaining I.A.No.1, stayed the further proceedings before the Trial Court.
5. As could be seen from the material on record, the stay order was passed on 17.07.2025, making it clear that the arguments should be addressed soon-after service of notice to the respondent i.e., complainant in the case. It is submitted that the petitioner/complainant has appeared before the Sessions Court and filed a memo expressing no objection to allow the revision petition. Inspite of that no
order is said to have been passed.
6. In the above facts and circumstances, the learned LV Additional City Civil and Sessions Judge, (CCH- 56), Bengaluru is
directed to dispose of the Crl.R.P.No.313/2025 pending on its file within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

7. Petition is disposed of.
