Heard Sri Anup Kumar Khare, learned counsel for the petitioner, learned Standing Counsel appearing for the State-respondent no.1 and Sri Nitesh Patel holding brief of Sri Udit Chandra, learned counsel for the respondent nos.2 and 3. 2. This is a writ petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India wherein the petitioner has prayed for the following reliefs:- "i. Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus directing to the respondent authorities to provide electricity connection to the name of petitioner forthwith. ii. Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus directing to the respondent authorities to decide the representation of the petitioner dated 30.04.2025 within stipulated time." 3. The petitioner is seeking a new electric connection wherein the respondent authorities have submitted that if indemnity bond is filed by the petitioner, the electric connection shall be granted by them. 4. In light of the above submissions, the petitioner is directed to comply with the formalities including submission of the indemnity bond within a period of two weeks from date. If the same is done, the authority concerned is directed to grant new electric connection to the petitioner, expeditiously within a period of two weeks from completion of the formalities by the petitioner. 5.
