1. The petition is for the following reliefs:
“a. Issue a writ or order in the nature of Certiorari quashing the Rejection
Order No. F.l81102/2003/2024/-IIIHG/3026-27 dated 04.12.2024 qua the petitioner passed by the Respondent along with recommendations of the Sentence Review Board III its meeting held on 30.08.2024 and 18.09.2024; b. Issue a Writ in the nature of Mandamus directing the Respondent to Prematurely release the Petitioner in FIR No.1 05/20 11 registered at P .S. K.N.K. Marg under section 376/307/328/506 IPC; and”

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that even after rejection of his premature release, the petitioner was allowed to remain in semi open jail. This is a digitally signed order. 3. The aforesaid fact would have bearing for the reconsideration of his release by the Sentence Review Board (SRB).

Learned counsel for the respondent, on instruction, submits that the case of the petitioner’s case shall be reconsidered by the SRB in its forthcoming meeting.
5. Let all the aspects be reconsidered and, thereafter, a fresh decision be passed in accordance with applicable rules and regulations.
6. If the petitioner’s grievance is not mitigated, he shall be at liberty to take appropriate recourse in accordance with law.
