The petitioner has preferred the present writ petition inter- alia with the prayer to quash the order dated 16.10.2024 bearing Letter No. CO-CA-Appeal (77) 2024/1768 passed by the respondent No. 2 and impugned Suspension order dated 16.07.2024 bearing Letter No. न-323/2024 as well as impugned order dated 21.08.2024 both passed by the respondent no. 04. 2. A preliminary objection has been raised by learned Standing Counsel that against the aforesaid orders statutory alternative remedy is available to the petitioner to file revision before the Revisional Authority as provided under Uttar Pradesh Police Officer Subordinate Ranks (Punishment & Appeal) Rules 1991. 3. At this point of time, a prayer has been made by the counsel for the petitioner to dismiss the present writ petition with liberty to the petitioner to preferred a revision before the Revisional Authority. 4. Heard counsel for the parties and perused the record. 5. In the facts and circumstances of the case, hence the statutory remedy is available to the petitioner to file an appeal before the revisional authority as stated above, the writ petition is dismissed on the ground of availability of statutory alternative remedy. 6. It is made clear that in case the petitioner will file a revision before the concerned revisional authority as stated above within a period of three weeks from today, the concerned revisional authority will not dismiss the same only on the ground of laches and will consider and decide the same most expeditiously on merits.
