By means of this petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution, petitioner has prayed for following relief as substantial relief: "i) to issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of Mandamus commanding the respondent no. 2 to consider Petitioner's application/ representation dated 12.06.2024 following by reminders dated 19.07.2024 and 11.09.2024 (copies of represenation and reminders are enclosed as Annexure Nos. 10, 11 & 12 to this petition) and pass appropriate order for extending benefits of pay-scale on completion of 09 years, 15 years, 18 years and 19 years service as Driver within the time to be specified by the Hon'ble Court." It appears from the records that the petitioner has already represented the matter to the respondent no. 2. Learned Standing Counsel submits that he has no objection in the event this petition stands disposed of with a direction to the respondent no. 2 to look into and consider the grievance of the petitioner and pass appropriate order strictly in accordance with law. In view of the above, this petition stands disposed of with a direction that respondent no. 2 shall consider the grievance of the petitioner raised in his representation dated 19.07.2024and decide the same within a period of three months from the date of receipt of certified copy of this order. Needless to add the order to be passed by the competent authority, as directed herein above, shall be reasoned and speaking one.
