1. In the instant contempt petition, the petitioner has alleged non- compliance of order dated 02.01.2013 passed in SWP No. 2239/2011, whereby the respondents came to be directed to consider the case of the petitioner in light of the Annexure-‘B’ of the writ petition and make a decision within a period of eight weeks.
2. Statement of facts has been filed by the respondent, wherein it is being inter alia stated that the case of the petitioner stands examined and reveals that an amount of Rs. 3,92,718/- was pending on account of Gratuity and Leave Encashment of the petitioner and the same stands released in favour of the petitioner in compliance of the judgment and order of this Court.
3. Be that as it may, record of the proceedings would reveal that none has appeared for the petitioner on the two previous dates. Accordingly, the contempt proceedings are closed with liberty to the petitioner to seek revival of the contempt petition within four weeks from today, in case cause survives.
