The instant petition has been filed for the following reliefs:- "(i) Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus directing the respondent no.3, Consolidation Officer Katghara Jaunpur to decide the restoration application No. 157 under Section 20 of U.P.C.H. Act (Katwaru Vs. State) to this writ petition within a stipulated period, till the disposal of case directed to parties to maintain status quo on the land in dispute. (ii) Issue any such and further suitable writ, order or direction which this Hon'ble Court may deem fit and proper considering all the facts and circumstances of the case." 3. Counsel for the petitioner submitted that time barred restoration application filed on behalf of the petitioner is pending before respondent no.3, Consolidation Officer, Katghara Jaunpur since 25.4.2024, as such, appropriate direction should be issued for the expeditious disposal of aforementioned time barred restoration application. 4. I have considered the arguments advanced by learned counsel for the parties and perused the records. 5. There is no dispute about the fact that restoration application filed by petitioner is time barred. 6. No case for expeditious disposal of time barred proceeding is made out. 7.
