GP FOR SERVICES II The Court made the following: 3 HON’BLE SRI JUSTICE NYAPATHY VIJAY W.P.No.27731 of 2025 ORDER : This writ petition is filed questioning the action of the Respondents in not considering the case of the Petitioner for inter- district transfer to Vizianagaram on spouse grounds. 2. The case of the Petitioner is that she was initially selected as Secondary Grade Teacher in the year 1998 DSC and appointed at M.P.P.School, Karaka, Visakhapatnam District. Subsequently, the Petitioner was promoted as School Assistant (Physical Sciences) in the year 2009 and ever since she is working in Visakhapatnam District. 3. The husband of the Petitioner is working as Tahasildar in Vizianagaram District and the Petitioner has submitted representations for considering her case for transfer to Vizianagaram District on spouse grounds. It is stated by the learned counsel for the Petitioner that the Petitioner is willing to forego his seniority in the cadre of School Assistant. It is also stated that Respondent No.1 had issued G.O.R.T.No.291 dated 02.10.2025 affecting the inter-district transfers and the name of the Petitioner is not reflected in that and hence the present writ petition is filed. 4 4. Learned Assistant Government Pleader on instructions submits that as and when the vacancy is available, the case of the Petitioner will be considered along with others for inter-district transfers. 5. Heard Sri Murali Babu Doma, learned counsel for the Petitioner and learned Government Pleader for Services-II. 6. The Government had issued G.Os permitting inter-district transfers on mutual grounds in line with the guidelines issued by General Administration on the said subject. As the Petitioner had submitted representation for inter-district transfer, and as she is willing to forego the seniority, the Respondents are directed to consider the case of the petitioner for inter-district transfer subject to availability of vacancies within a period of four months from today. 7. With the above observation, the writ petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
