In this writ petition, petitioner is assailing the order dated 28.08.2023 (Annexure-J3) rejecting the application made by the petitioner seeking conversion of the land in question. 2. Heard learned counsel appearing for the parties. 3. Sri. M.N. Madhusudhan, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that, the impugned endorsement is liable to be quashed as there is deemed conversion. - 3 - HC-KAR NC: 2025:KHC:26216 WP No. 21103 of 2023 4. Per contra, Sri. Manjunath, learned High Court Government Pleader submitted that the petitioner is having alternative efficacious remedy before the Karnataka Appellate Tribunal. 5. In that view of the matter, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, petitioner is relegated to approach the Karnataka Appellate Tribunal seeking the relief as claimed in this writ petition. 6. All contentions of the parties are kept open. 7. The interim order granted by this Court on 13.10.2023, is hereby extended for a period of four weeks from today. 8. It is also made clear that the period spent by the petitioner before this Court be condoned in terms of Section 14 of the Limitation Act. 9. With the above observation, the writ petition is disposed of. Consequently, the impleading application I.A.2/2023 does not survive for consideration.
