3.
Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner has falsely been implicated in this case. He submits that vide order dated 20.05.2024, second bail application of the petitioner was dismissed wherein trial court was directed to conclude the trial within a period of one year but despite the directions, proceedings are still pending. It is contended that trial will take considerable time in its conclusion. Counsel further contends that petitioner is in custody since 20.05.2021 and further custody of the petitioner would not serve any fruitful purpose.
4. Learned Public Prosecutor assisted by learned counsel for complainant vehemently opposes the submissions made by counsel for the petitioner. They submit that matter was fixed for final argument on 04.07.2025 before the learned trial court, but on that day, some time was sought to make the submissions by the learned counsel for the petitioner. Now, next date for final argument before the learned trial court is 16.07.2025.
5. Having regard to the totality of the facts and circumstances of the case and considering the arguments advanced at bar, as also the fact that matter has been fixed for final argument before the learned trial court, thus, this third bail application is dismissed.
