2. Learned counsel Mr. D. Bora on behalf of learned Amicus Curiae Mr. D. Saikia is present for the respondent No. 2 and learned Additional Public Prosecutor Mr. B. Sarma is present for the respondent State.
3. This application is filed with prayer for condonation of delay of 51 (Fifty One) days in filing the connected appeal. It is submitted that there was no undue negligence on the part of the applicant/appellant and the applicant/appellant has shown sufficient grounds for condonation of delay.
4. It is submitted that the applicant/appellant has no family members to assist him except his sister. The applicant’s sister had to meet the applicant and then, had to engage a lawyer, which resulted in the delay.
5. No objection has been raised on behalf of the respondents.
6. Considering all aspects, it appears that delay may be condoned. The delay is hereby condoned.
7. Registry to register the connected appeal.
8. In terms of the above observation, this interlocutory application stands
disposed of.
