ORAL ORDER
Heard the learned counsel appearing for the parties.
2. Having taken note of the submissions made by the
learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and learned HCGP for the State - respondent Nos.1 to 3, it is emerged from the writ petition that the petitioner herein is assailing the mutation
order in No.L.N.D.C.R.68/1988-89 dated 29.08.1988 passed by respondent No.2 as per Annexure-C. In that view of the matter, though in this writ petitioner the endorsement dated 27.12.2021 (Annexure-H) has been challenged, the order made under Annexure-C is appealable under Section 136(2) of the Karnataka Land Revenue Act, 1964 (for short 'the Act').
3. In that view of the matter, without expressing anything on the merits of the case, the petitioner is permitted to approach the competent authority as the petitioner is having an efficacious remedy under the above Act. All contentions of the parties are kept open.
4. It is needless to state that, while considering the appeal that may be filed by the petitioner herein under Section

136(2) of the Act, the jurisdictional Assistant Commissioner should not be, influenced by the Endorsement dated 27.12.2021 (Annexure-H) issued by respondent No.2 herein.
With these observations, the writ petition is accordingly
disposed of.
