ORDER:-
The present Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking the following relief:
“…to issue a Writ, Order or Direction, more particularly one in the nature of Writ of Mandamus by declaring the action of the respondent No.3 in not passing any order in the stay petition filed for stay of the order dated 15-05-2015 passed by the 6th Respondent in Proceedings No.A/53/2018 as a highhandedness and dereliction of the authority vested in him, and stay the operation of the order dated 15/05/2025 in Proceedings No. A/53/2018 and consequently direct the 3rd Respondent to dispose of the appeal in ROC.No.B2/1700/2025 as early as possible in the interest of Justice.…”
2. The respondent No.6 has cancelled the D-form patta issued in favor of the petitioner’s paternal uncle, along with the pattadar passbooks and title deeds issued in favor of the petitioner. The said proceedings was challenged by way of appeal vide ROC.No.B2/1700/2025 before respondent No.3-Sub Collector, Madanapalle, along with an application for stay of proceedings vide Proc.No.A/53/2018 dated 15.05.2025 filed under Section 5B of the Andhra Pradesh Rights in Land and Pattadar Passbooks Act.
3. Heard Sri M.V.Subba Reddy, learned counsel for petitioner and learned Assistant Government Pleader for Revenue for respondent Nos.1 to 6.

Learned counsel for petitioner submits that it would suffice to direct the respondents to dispose of the stay application filed along with the appeal within a time bound manner.
5. Learned Assistant Government Pleader does not refute the said submission.
6. Therefore, without going into merits of the matter, the present Writ Petition is disposed of directing respondent No.3 to pass appropriate orders on the stay application filed by the petitioner along with the appeal, within a period of two (02) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. There shall be no order as to costs.
As a sequel thereto, miscellaneous petitions pending, if any, shall stand closed.
