When the matter is taken up for consideration today, there is no representation for the petitioner. Perusal of record reveals that, on 30.08.2025, it was brought to the notice of this Court that the learned counsel for the petitioner is no more.
Consequently, this Court directed the Registry to issue notice to the petitioner. Accordingly, notice was issued to the petitioner, however the same was returned unserved with an endorsement ‘Addressee deceased/expired. In view of the above, the Writ Petition is dismissed as abated. There shall be no order as to costs.
