Patra, ASC CORAM: THE HON’BLE MR. JUSTICE ADITYA KUMAR MOHAPATRA Order No. ORDER 24.01.2025 01. 1. This matter is taken up through Hybrid mode. 2. Heard learned counsel for the respective parties. 3. Instant writ petition is filed by the Petitioner for a direction to the Opposite Parties to regularize him in the post of Village Level Worker (VLW)/Panchayat Executive Officer (PEO) with usual pay, Grade pay, DA and other allowances as admissible to the regular employees from the date of their contractual engagement in the said post on the grounds stated therein. 4. In course of hearing, learned counsel for the Petitioner submits that vide Annexure-9, the case of other VLWs/ PEOs has been allowed and hence, the Petitioner is eligible and entitled to regularization, hence, a similar direction may be issued to Opposite Party No.3. Learned counsel for the Petitioner further submits that for the said exercise by a decision of Opposite Party No.3, the Petitioner should be granted the liberty to move the authority concerned with representation. 5. Recorded the submission of Mr. M.R. Patra, learned Additional Standing Counsel, who has no objection, if any such grievance of the Petitioner with representation received from him is duly considered by Opposite Party No.3 with a decision according to law. 6. In view of the above facts and the contentions of the respective parties, this Court is inclined to allow the Petitioner to submit representation for a decision by Opposite Party No.3 considering the same in the light of this Court’s order under Annexure-9 and the plea of parity advanced while seeking such regularization. 7. Hence, it is ordered. 8. In the result, the writ petition stands disposed of with the liberty allowed in favour of the Petitioner to submit individual representation addressed to Opposite Party No.3, which shall be within ten days from today and on receipt of the same, the said authority shall entertain it and to take a decision on regularization of his service keeping in view the order under Annexure-9 extending similar benefits to him within a period of eight weeks thereafter. 9.
