This Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India with the following prayer for:
“.... a Writ of Mandamus declaring the action of Respondent No.4 in not taking any action on the several complaints including non registration of crime on the latest complaint dated- 19-08-2021 lodged by the petitioner or taking concrete steps to prevent the damage, destruction and disruption to

the cable transmission services, fiber and cable equipment of the petitioner from the 5th Respondent and his men and for interfering with the repair works being carried out by the petitioner and the technical team subsequent to the cable cutting resorted to by the competitor cable operators, and their men as illegal, arbitrary, unjust and violative of Articles 14,21 and 19 (1) (g) of the Constitution of India and consequentially direct the 4th Respondent as to not to interfere with the cable transmission activities of the petitioner and its affiliate LCOs which include but not limited to replacement of new cable with the damaged cable, repair, reconnection and reinstatement works in the areas within the Police limits of the 4th Respondent for ensuring smooth and uninterrupted cable and Internet services to the customers or subscribers connected to the petitioner's cable network during these covid outbreak situation.”

Sri V.Farooq, learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home, on written instructions, would submit that, based on the complaint given by the Petitioner, a case in Crime No.288 of 2021 on the file of Ponnur Town Police Station, Guntur District for the offences under Sections 427 and 506 read with 34 IPC has been registered. Hence, no further orders are required in this matter and the petition may be disposed of. 4. Considering the submissions made, the Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
