ORAL ORDER
A Memorandum of Settlement under Section 89 of CPC read with Rules 24 and 25 of the Karnataka Civil Procedure (Mediation) Rules, 2005 is received by the Court from the Mediation Centre. The parties have amicably resolved the matter before Medication Centre and the terms and conditions are enumerated as under:
"II-The aforesaid petition was referred to mediation for resolving the dispute between the parties. During the course of mediation, the petitioner and the respondent along with their respective advocates were present to resolve the dispute and they have agreed the following terms and conditions:
a. Both the parties state that they are legally wedded wife and husband and their marriage was solemnized on 14.08.2020 at Vivaha Bhojanamu Banquet Hall, Telecom Colony, Secundrabad, Telangana as per Christian rites and customs. After their marriage both the parties have resided at Bengaluru within the jurisdiction of this Hon'ble Court. Further the parties state that they have no children born to them from this marriage. In view of the settlement arrived between the parties, both the parties have agreed to

dissolve their marriage by filing mutual consent petition before the Family Court, Bengaluru on or before 15.09.2025
2. The respondent/husband has agreed to pay a sum of Rs.24,00,000/- (Rupees Twenty Four Lakhs Only) to the petitioner/wife towards the maintenance/permanent alimony as full and final settlement of all her claims. The said amount will be paid by the respondent/husband in three instalments in the following manner:
a) A sum of Rs.8,00,000/- (Rupees Eight Lakhs Only) will be paid by the respondent/husband to the petitioner/wife at the time of withdrawal/close/quash the following cases:
i) DVC Case No. 43/2023
ii) C.C.No.2288/2022
iii) Crl.Misc No.36/2024
b) A sum of Rs.8,00,000/- (Rupees Eight Lakhs Only) will be paid by the respondent/husband to the petitioner/wife at the time of filing mutual consent petition before the Family Court, Bengaluru. c) The balance amount of Rs.8,00,000/- (Rupees Eight Lakhs Only) will be paid by the respondent/husband to the petitioner/wife at the time of reporting settlement of mutual consent petition which is filed by both the parties before the Family Court, Bengaluru. The petitioner/wife has agreed to receive the amount in aforesaid manner. - 4 -

In view of this settlement both the parties have agreed to withdraw/close/quash the following cases in accordance with law:
a) The petitioner has agreed to withdraw DVC.Case No.43/2023 filed against the respondent/husband before the II Addl. Metropolitan Magistrate Court, Malkajgiri, Secundrabad, Telangana State. b) The petitioner/wife has agreed to co-operate with the respondent/husband in closing/quashing the proceedings in C.C.No.2288/2022 filed against the respondent/husband for the offence punishable under Section 498A of IPC R/W Section 3 & 4 of D.P.Act pending on the file of II Addl. Metropolitan Magistrate Court, Malkajgiri, Secunderabad, Telangana state. c) The petitioner has agreed to withdraw M.C. No.36/2024 filed against the respondent/husband for seeking maintenance before the I Addl. District and Sessions Judge cum Addl. Family Court Special Sessions Judge for Fast Tracking the cases relating to atrocity against Women, Medchal Malkajgiri, Secundrabad. d) The respondent/husband has agreed to withdraw M.C.No.31/2022 filed against the petitioner/wife pending on the file of Prl. Senior Civil Judge, Doddaballapura, Bengaluru Rural District. 4. Both parties state that apart from the above they have no claims in whatsoever nature against each other either in past, present, in future. - 5 -

5. The parties state that they have no claims over the movable or immovable properties belonging to each other either existing or to be acquired in future. 6. The petitioner/wife has already retained all the jewels which was given by the respondent/husband during the subsistence of their marriage, for which the respondent/husband has no objection. 7. The parties further state that there has been no collusion or force, fraud or any undue influence by any of the parties to enter into this into this compromise in the aforesaid manner."
The parties are present before the Court. The Memorandum of Settlement is signed by the petitioner and the respondent, as well as their respective counsel. The memorandum is taken on record. The memorandum shall form part of this order.
