Heard Mr. A. Khanikar, learned counsel for the petitioner; Ms. P.R. Mahanta, learned Standing Counsel, Revenue Department; and Ms. S. Konwar, learned Junior Government Advocate, Assam. Mr. Khanikar, learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that in view of the issue involved in this writ petition, the petitioner may be allowed to withdraw this writ petition in
order to file appropriate petition including a PIL. In view of the above submission made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, the writ petition stands dismissed on withdrawal. Liberty stands reserved to the petitioner to approach the appropriate forum as permissible under the law.
