Through the aforesaid order, the District Magistrate has directed the Executive Officer, Nagar Panchayat to look for an alternative land for construction of Kalyan Mandap. The order has been passed as a consequence of the order dated 17.11.2023 passed by this Court in Public Interest Litigation (PIL) No. 2647 of 2023. The order is administrative in nature and is subject to consideration by higher authorities in the administration hierarchy. No substantive right of the petitioner as such has been violated so as to persuade this Court to take cognizance under Article 226 of the Constitution of India. The writ petition is dismissed.
