COLLECTORATE, ONGOLE, PRAKASAM DISTRICT. ...RESPONDENT(S): Petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying that in the circumstances stated in the affidavit filed therewith, the High Court may be pleased to issue a Writ order or direction more particularly in the nature of WRIT OF MANDAMUS declaring the action of the respondent authority in not promoting the petitioner from the cadre of Anganwadi worker to supervisor grade II on contract basis as illegal and arbitrary and consequently set aside the entire proc. Vide No. 2/2006, Dt. 19-4-2006 as illegal, arbitrary, unjust and against ht rule of reservation to various communities such as SC/ST/BC/Physically challenged and violation of Art. 14, 16, 21of the 2 Constitution of India and against the principle of natural justice and consequently set aside the entire proceedings vide No. 2/A/2006, Dt. 19-4- 2006 and pass such other order or further orders as this Hon'ble Court may deem fit and proper in the interest of justice. GP FOR WOMEN DEV, CHILD WELFARE 3 The Court made the following order: Sri K.Pruidhvi Raju, learned counsel for the petitioner, submits that despite best efforts, the petitioner has not been in contact with him for a long time. Since the matter pertains to the year 2006 and the petitioner has not been pursuing the case through her advocate, it shows that she has no interest in prosecuting the matter. Hence, the Writ Petition is dismissed for non-prosecution. However, if the petitioner feels that the cause still survives, she can file appropriate application within a period of two (2) months. There shall be no order as to costs.
