The grievance of the petitioner is regarding the Deputy Commissioner not permitting conversion of 23 Guntas ‘A’ kharab land although the application was filed by the petitioner seeking conversion of 26 Guntas of land in Sy.No.271/10 of Hebbal village, Kasaba Hobli, Mysuru Taluk and District. 3. On perusal of the orders passed by the Deputy Commissioner at Annexure-H, this Court finds that the petitioner had sought for conversion of 26 Guntas of land in the said survey number. However, the Deputy Commissioner permitted conversion of only 03 Guntas of land. Therefore, the petitioner, if aggrieved of such an order passed by the Deputy Commissioner, is at liberty to - 4 - HC-KAR NC: 2025:KHC:30969 WP No. 23964 of 2025 raise a challenge before the competent appellate authority. 4. With these observations, the writ petition stands disposed of. 5. Learned High Court Government Pleader is permitted to file memo of appearance within a period of four weeks from today.
