GP FOR REVENUE The Court made the following: ORDER: This Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India with the following prayer for: “.... to issue an appropriate writ, order or direction more in the nature of Writ of Mandamus, declaring the action of the respondents in not taking any action in pursuance tot he representation dated 7.10.2020 seeking protection for conducting agricultural operations in their lands to an extent of Ac 2.50 in Sy No 15/1 an extent of Ac 2.00 in Sy No 16/1 an extent of Ac 2.50 cents in Sy No 15/2 an extent of Ac 2.51 cents in Sy No 9/16 an extent Ac 3.05 cents in Sy No 7/2 an extent of Ac 2.45 cents in Sy No 16/2 and an extent of Ac 2.50 cents in Sy No 9/1B of 59 Kothurupadu Village Addatigala Mandal East Godvari District respectively against the respondnets 5 to 7 and others who were non tribals and were threatening with dire consequences as being illegal, arbitrary and is in violation of aRticles 14 and 21 of the Constitution of India and consequently direct the respondents 2 to 4 herein to take immediate steps against the respondnets 5 to 7 and others by considering the aforesaid representation.” 2. Heard Sri M.Chalapathi, learned counsel for the petitioners and Sri Md.Farooq, learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home. 3. The grievance of the petitioners herein is that they have given a representation to the police to take action against non-tribals who are trying to dispossess the petitioners from their possession over the subject land. 3 4. Learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home would submit that because of paucity of time, this petition may be disposed of since the present petition is filed in the year 2021. 5. In that view, the Writ Petition is disposed of. However, the petitioners are at liberty to make a fresh representation as and when required. On receipt of such representation, the police are directed to look into such representation and act in accordance with law. There shall be no order as to costs.
