The case of the petitioner is that he was allotted a HIG plot bearing No. 1, HIG Tatya Tope Nagar Phase-III on 18.10.2002. However, lease deed of the said plot has not been executed in favour of the petitioner so far, despite the petitioner having deposited the entire amount. 2. Learned counsel appearing on behalf of Kanpur Development Authority, Kanpur accepts that the petitioner has deposited 24 lakhs on 28.6.2024. He submits that the Authority will take decision in respect of the prayer of the petitioner within four weeks. He further submits that the Authority will also duly take into consideration the amount deposited by the petitioner so far. 3. Accordingly, the writ petition is disposed of by providing that the respondent-Development Authority shall take decision in respect of the prayer of the petitioner for execution of the lease deed in his favour within four weeks from the date of communication of the instant order.
