HIGH COURT OF JAMMU & KASHMIR AND LADAKH AT JAMMU CPSW No. 553/2014 In SWP No. 1218/2014 c/w SWP No. 1218/2014 Shazia Mehboob …..Appellant(s)/Petitioner(s) Through: None. Vs Roshan Lal, C.D.P.O, Bhaderwah, District Doda .…. Respondent(s) Through: Mr. Ravinder Gupta, AAG. CORAM: HON’BLE MR. JUSTICE M A CHOWDHARY, JUDGE ORDER (30.07.2025) CPSW No. 553/2014 There is no representation on behalf of the petitioners and so was the case on the two previous dates of hearing as well. Learned counsel for the respondents submits that the question that has been raised in this contempt petition is with regard to non-compliance of order dated 19.05.2014, whereby, it had been provided that the impugned selection list shall not be acted upon, provided the same has not already been acted upon, however, the selection list has already been acted upon on 31.12.2013, as stated in para 2 of preliminary objections of statement of facts. In view of this, there seems to be no non-compliance of the order and the petitioner may also have been satisfied. This is the reason that the petitioner remained unrepresented. Thus, the instant contempt petition is disposed of and the proceedings are dropped. Serial No.35 2 SWP No. 1218/2014 There is no representation on behalf of the petitioner despite indicating the name of his counsel in the cause list. It appears that the petitioner has lost interest in prosecuting the instant petition any further. In view of the above, the instant petition is, dismissed for non-prosecution along with connected application(s). Interim direction, if any, shall stand vacated. (M A CHOWDHARY) JUDGE Jammu 30.07.2025 Renu Renu Bala I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this document Jammu 01.08.2025 10:25
