Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that, pursuant to the orders passed by this Court in W.P.No.15871/2022 dated 11.08.2022, the petitioner filed an online application on 22.09.2022. However, an endorsement was issued by the Tahsildar at Annexure-C dated 28.08.2023, stating that the Tahsildar is unable to verify the original records on the information given by the petitioner regarding the claim of ownership over the land - 3 - HC-KAR NC: 2025:KHC:36793 WP No. 28118 of 2025 in question and therefore, the Tahsildar directed the petitioner to approach the 'Committee for Building up Missing Records'. The petitioner approached the Assistant Commissioner and the Assistant Commissioner, Ramanagara, Sub-Division, made a communication at Annexure-G dated 05.03.2024 to the Deputy Commissioner, Ramanagara, stating that the missing records have to be built in the case of the petitioner. Despite the communication being made by the Assistant Commissioner on 05.03.2024, no action has been taken by the Deputy Commissioner. Therefore, the petitioner is before this Court. 3. The Writ Petition is accordingly disposed of with a specific direction to respondent No.2 – the Deputy Commissioner, Ramanagara District to proceed to build the missing records in terms of the communication at Annexure-G made by the Assistant Commissioner and ensure that necessary orders are passed by the Committee for Missing Records, as expeditiously as - 4 - HC-KAR NC: 2025:KHC:36793 WP No. 28118 of 2025 possible and at any rate, within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
