Applicant seeks anticipatory bail in case arising out of FIR No. 84/2025 dated 24.07.2025, registered at Police Station Barakhamba Road, for commission of offences under Sections 109(1)/140(3)/62/3(5) of Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS), 2023 (corresponding Sections 307/365/511/34 IPC). 2. FIR in question was registered on 24.07.2025. The complainant, as per the allegations appearing in FIR, was shooting a video under Minto Bridge when one white colour Scorpio Car came there and stopped. One person, the applicant herein, objected to such activity and as per the allegations appearing in FIR, when complainant was confronted by the applicant and his co-accused, he was tried to be run over. When the present application was taken up by learned Predecessor Bench on 01.08.2025, taking note of the various aspects of the case, the applicant was directed to join the investigation with the direction to Investigating Agency not to take any further coercive steps against him. Such order continues to be in operation. 4. Learned Addl. P.P. for the State submits that the applicant has joined the investigation. The Investigating Officer SI Mahavir Jogi is also present and submits that the investigation is almost over. 5. During the course of arguments, Sh. N. Hariharan, learned Senior Counsel for the applicant also submitted that the co-accused of the applicant, who was, as per the allegations, travelling in the abovesaid Scorpio Car at the relevant time, has already been enlarged on anticipatory bail by the learned Court of Sessions on 23.12.2025. He submits that since the investigation is almost over and the applicant is not required for any investigational or interrogational purposes, the interim relief granted to the applicant may be made absolute. 6. Keeping in mind the overall facts of the case and the fact that co-accused is also on anticipatory bail, the interim order dated 01.08.2025 is hereby made absolute and it is directed that applicant shall keep on assisting the investigation and in the event of his arrest, he be released on bail by the concerned SHO/IO/arresting officer, on his furnishing personal bond and surety bond in a sum of Rs.25,000/- each. 7.
