Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Assistant Public Prosecutor. Perused the record. 2. As seen from the record, the allegation against the petitioner/Accused No.8 is that he acted as a pilot while the other accused persons transporting ganja in another vehicle. The role of the petitioner came to light based on the confession statements of Accused Nos.1 to 5. Except the confessions given before the police officer, no other incriminating material is available against the petitioner. The case was registered in the year 2023. The petitioner was arrested on 26.08.2025 and he has been in judicial custody for the past 79 days.,^The learned Assistant Public Prosecutor submits that, except for filing the charge sheet showing Accused No.9 as absconding, the material portion of the investigation has been completed. 3. were 3 Dr.YLR.J Crl.RNo.10190 of 2025 Dated 13.11.2025 The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the son of the 4. petitioner died on 21.09.2025. The petitioner is aged about 26 years and is a permanent resident of Surthupalli Village, Balapam Panchayat, Chinthapalli Mandal, Alluri Sitarama Raju District. He has got fixed abode. The period for custodial interrogation is also completed, and no application was filed seeking custodial interrogation of the petitioner. The learned Assistant Public Prosecutor submits that there are no similar adverse antecedents reported against the petitioner. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, the nature and 5. gravity of allegations levelled against the Petitioner/Accused No.8, this Court is inclined to enlarge the Petitioner/Accused No.8 on bail. In the result, the Criminal Petition is allowed with the following stringent 6. conditions: i. The Petitioner/Accused No.8 shall be enlarged on bail f subject to he executing bond for a sum of Rs.50,000/- (Rupees Fifty Thousand only), with two sureties each for the like sum each to the satisfaction of the learned Judicial First Class Magistrate, Chinthapalli. ii. The Petitioner/Accused No.8 shall appear before the Station House Officer concerned, on every Saturday in between 10:00 am and 05:00 pm, till filing of the charge sheet. 4 Dr. YLR,J Crl.RNo.10190 of 2025 Dated 13.11.2025 iii. The Petitioner/Accused No.8 shall not leave the limits of the State of Andhra Pradesh without prior permission from the Station House Officer concerned. iv. The Petitioner/Accused No.8 shall not commit or indulge in commission of any offence in future. V. The Petitioner/Accused No.8 shall cooperate with the investigating officer in further investigation of the case and shall make himself available for interrogation by the investigating officer as and when required. vi. The Petitioner/Accused No.8 shall not, directly or indirectly, make any inducement, threat or promise to any person acquainted with the facts of the case so as to dissuade him/her from disclosing such facts to the court or to any police officer.
