By an order dated 22.10.2018, the petitioner has been removed from the Membership of Diddigi Gram Panchayat, Jagaluru Taluk, Davanagere District, under

Section 43A of the Karnataka Grama Swaraj and Panchayat Raj Act, 1993. The same is challenged in the instant writ petition.
2. It is submitted that the term of the elected body of the Diddigi Grama Panchayat came to an end and thereafter, fresh elections were conducted and the petitioner has not contested the elections.
3. For the said reason, it is submitted by the respondents that the writ petition has become infructuous.
4. The petitioner is not in a position to contravene the afore-mentioned facts.
5. The writ petition is dismissed as having become infructuous.
