GP FOR HOME The Court made the following: ORDER: This Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India with the following prayer for: “.... to Issue a Writ or Order or Direction more particularly one in the nature of a Writ of Mandamus declaring the action of the respondents particularly the 4th and 5th respondents Continuously harassing the Petitioners one way or another by Calling to the I Town Police Station detaining hours together, manhandling and threatening the petitioners since last 2 months only because of they knows one Mr.K.K.V.S. Sathphalaayanudu @KKVS Sathphala Naidu who is a Police Constable involved as Accused No.3 in Crime No. 148/2025 of I Town Police Station,Visakhapatnam even though the Petitioners are no way connected either directly or indirecity and they are also not Accused in Crime No.148/2025 of I Town P.S., Visakhapatnam but the respondents 4 and 5 misusing their power all are Illegal, Unlawful, Violation of Article 14,19,21 of the Constitution of India , Violation of Principles of Natural Justice, Violaiton of Police Standing Orders, Violation of Apex Court Consequently to direct the Respondents 2 and 3 to take action as against the Respondents 4 and 5 departmentally in accordance with Law and Procedure there by to Stop all the further harassment on the Petitioners except by strictly following the law and procedure.” 2. Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, there is no representation on behalf of the petitioners. 3. Learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home would submit that the police have issued notices to the petitioners to appear before them, and the petitioners have complied with the said notices. Therefore, no further orders are required in this matter. 4. Recording the said submissions, the Writ Petition is disposed of. However, the police are directed to follow due process of law regarding Crime 3 No.148 of 2025 of I Town Police Station, Visakhapatnam City. There shall be no order as to costs.
