1. The present contempt petition has been filed alleging wilful disobedience of the order dated 05th October, 2023 passed by this Court in W.P.(C) 13024/2023, titled as Pallavi Sharma Versus Union of India and This is a digitally signed order. 2. By way of the aforesaid order dated 05th October, 2023, directions had been issued to Municipal Corporation of Delhi (“MCD”), for taking action against the unauthorised construction existing in property bearing no. G -53, Tower no. - 6, Gulshan Society, Shaheen Bagh, Okhla, New Delhi- 110025.

Learned counsel appearing for the respondent MCD submits that action against the unauthorised construction has been taken on various occasions. She draws the attention of this Court to the Status/Action Taken Report filed on behalf of the MCD, wherein, the action taken by the MCD on various dates has been detailed, in the following manner:

Learned counsel appearing for the respondent-MCD submits that further action has also been taken by the MCD on 22nd April, 2026 and thereafter on 07th July, 2026. She submits that after the demolition action, the said property has been re-sealed.
5. Considering the aforesaid, it is evident that requisite action has been taken by MCD.
6. MCD is enjoined upon to ensure that no further unauthorised construction takes place in the property in question.
7. Noting the aforesaid, the present petition is accordingly disposed of.
8. However, Compliance Affidavit be filed by the MCD, within a period of four weeks.
