This Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India with the following prayer for:
“…pleased to issue a writ or direction more particularly one in the nature of Writ of MANDAMUS declaring the action of the Police Authorities in not registering the complaint dated 18-08-2023 and not taking action against the representation dated 01-09-2023 made by the petitioners and not protecting the Petitioners from the Respondents 8 to 12 as illegal and unconstitutional and violative of Art. 14, 19 and 21 of Constitution of India apart from violation of Principles of Natural Justice and consequently direct the respondents to take action against the respondents 8 to 12 as per law and pass such other order or orders…”
2. Heard learned counsel for the petitioners and Mr. V Farooq, learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home representing the respondents. 3. The present Writ Petition is filed seeking a direction to the official respondents to act on their representations dated 01.09.2023 and to take action against the respondent Nos.8 to 12. 4. Sri V.Farooq, learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home for the respondents, on written instructions, brought to the notice of this Court that basing on the complaint of the petitioners a crime was registered in Cr.No.184 of 2023 under Sections 341, 447, 506 r/w. 34 IPC on the file of Visakhapatnam Police Station against the unofficial respondents. 5. Recording the above said submissions, this Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
