It is contended that the petitioner was granted 10 guntas of land in Survey No.63 of Bathiganahalli Village, Sullibele Hobli, Hoskote Taluk, Bengaluru Rural District, in terms of the resolution passed by the Committee for Regularization of Unauthorised Occupation, the saguvalichit was also issued in favour of the petitioner. - 3 - HC-KAR NC: 2025:KHC:35862 WP No. 24240 of 2025 However, the name of the petitioner has not been entered in the revenue records. 3. The petitioner is seeking a writ of mandamus directing respondent No.2-Tahsildar, Hosakote Taluk, Bangalore Rural District, to consider the representation dated 20.07.2023 at Annexure-E given by the petitioner and pass necessary orders to enter the name of the petitioner in the revenue records. The petitioner submits that the name of the petitioner has not been entered in the land records till date. 4. The writ petition stands disposed of with a direction to respondent No.2-Tahsildar, Hoskote Taluk, to verify the records and find out if an order of regularisation was passed by the Committee and whether Saguvali chit was issued in favour of the petitioner on 22.03.2018. If it is found from the records that the facts stated hereinabove are true, then the Tahsildar shall proceed to mutate and enter the name of the petitioner in the revenue records, - 4 - HC-KAR NC: 2025:KHC:35862 WP No. 24240 of 2025 after collecting the necessary fee in accordance with law. The entire exercise shall be completed as expeditiously as possible and at any rate within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. Ordered accordingly.
